Lady Chargers Advance to TCCAA Semifinals with Dominant 8-0 Win
The Columbia State Lady Chargers hosted the Chattanooga State Lady Tigers on Sunday in the quarterfinals of the TCCAA Women's Soccer Tournament. The Lady Chargers came out strong, securing an 8-0 victory to advance to the semifinals.
It was an all-around team effort for Columbia State. Eva Galloway led the attack with two goals and one assist, while Rory Curtis and Addison Alexander each added two goals, with Alexander also tallying an assist. Scarlett Derrett and Bree Stankard each contributed a goal, with Stankard also recording an assist.
Lillie Johanning had an impressive performance, leading the team with three assists, while Francheska Arellano and Alexandra Escobar each added an assist.
With the win, the Lady Chargers advance to the TCCAA Semifinals, where they will travel to Knoxville to face Pellissippi State on Wednesday, October 29.
