Lady Chargers Dominate in Final TCCAA Match with 8-0 Win Over Chattanooga State
The Columbia State Lady Chargers closed out TCCAA play in dominant fashion on Sunday with an 8-0 victory over the Chattanooga State Lady Tigers.
Freshman standout Eva Galloway led the charge with an impressive four goals and one assist. Scarlett Derrett added two assists, while Aubrie Bollenberg contributed a goal and an assist. Annaleese Zielinski tallied one goal and two assists, Lillian Gardner recorded a goal and an assist, and Sarah Thompson found the back of the net once. Sophia Caldera also added an assist to round out a strong offensive performance.
With the win, the Lady Chargers improve to 10-5-1 overall and 8-3-1 in TCCAA play. Columbia State will hit the road Thursday to face Southern Union State in Birmingham before returning home for their final regular-season match on Sunday, October 19.
