Lady Chargers Blank Southwest Tennessee, 5–0
The Columbia State Lady Chargers returned to Ridley Park on Thursday night and delivered a dominant performance, defeating Southwest Tennessee 5–0.
Sophomore captain Addison Alexander led the charge with a spectacular outing, recording a hat trick with three goals and one assist.
Eva Galloway continued her consistent play, adding a goal and an assist to her season totals, while Scarlett Derrett found the back of the net to round out the scoring for Columbia State.
The Chargers also saw strong contributions in the attack as Baylee Swink, Sarah Thompson, Lillie Johanning, and Aubrie Bollenberg each provided assists in the win.
With the victory, Columbia State improves to 7-5-1 overall and 5-3-1 in TCCAA play.
The Lady Chargers now turn their attention to the road, traveling to Dyersburg State on Sunday, October 5.
