Lady Chargers Dominate in 13-0 Victory Over Dyersburg State
The Lady Chargers put on an offensive showcase Wednesday at Ridley Field, rolling past the Dyersburg State Lady Eagles with a commanding 13-0 win in TCCAA play. The victory improves the Chargers' record to 6-4 overall and 4-2 in conference action.
It was a balanced attack as multiple players found the back of the net. Scarlett Derrett and Bree Stankard each scored two goals, with Stankard adding an assist. Isabella Hess also tallied two goals and an assist, while Aubrie Bollenberg contributed two goals and one assist. Sarah Thompson had a standout performance with two goals and two assists.
Other Chargers joining the scoring were Rory Curtis (1 goal, 1 assist), Sophia Caldera (1 goal, 1 assist), and Lillian Gardner (1 goal, 1 assist). Assists also came from Annaleese Zielinski, Baylee Swink, Darla Shinton, Alexandra Escobar, and Lillie Johanning.
The Lady Chargers return to action on Friday at 7 p.m. when they host Pellissippi State at Ridley Field in a highly anticipated rematch with the Lady Panthers.
