Lady Chargers Dominate Chattanooga State

The Lady Chargers earned a commanding 8-0 victory on the road yesterday at Chattanooga State in TCCAA play.

Scarlett Derrett led the way with 3 goals and an assist, while Eva Galloway continued her impressive season, scoring 5 goals and adding an assist. Galloway has also made her mark nationally—she currently ranks 1st in assists (10), 2nd in goals (7), 1st in points, and 2nd in shots (36) across the NJCAA.

Sophia Caldera tallied 2 assists, with Darla Shinton, Lillie Johanning, and Francheska Arellano each contributing an assist as well. Bree Stankard also added an assist to round out the team's strong offensive performance.

With the win, the Lady Chargers improve to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in TCCAA play. They'll return to action on Sunday, September 14, when they travel to Motlow State to take on the NJCAA #13-ranked Bucks at 3 p.m.
