Lady Chargers Dominate Roane State in TCCAA Opener

The Columbia State Lady Chargers traveled to Harriman, TN, on Thursday to take on the Roane State Lady Raiders in TCCAA play and came away with a commanding 8-0 victory.

Sophomore captain Addison Alexander led the charge, netting four goals to pace the Lady Chargers' offense. Eva Galloway added two goals—bringing her season total to six—while also dishing out an impressive five assists on the night. Scarlett Derrett contributed with a goal and an assist, and Lillie Johanning capped off the scoring with a goal of her own.

With the win, the Lady Chargers improve to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in TCCAA play.

Columbia State will be back on the road this Sunday, September 7, when they face Pellissippi State in Knoxville.
