For the second consecutive week, a Columbia State Chargers player has been named TCCAA Player of the Week: Addison Alexander. "It means a lot because I'm a freshman, and I'm proving myself as a player and positively impacting the team in this environment," Alexander said.
Regarding her two-goal, one-assist performance against Lewis & Clark, she added, "I feel proud of accomplishing that. I worked really hard in training, and I can see it paying off in the games."
Alexander leads the team in points with four goals and two assists in three games. Coach Barclay commented on Alexander's performance: "She's been incredible in just three games. I know there is more to come from her. Watching her work hard in training and then see the fruits of that in games is rewarding. She's a great teammate and an incredible competitor. I'm looking forward to seeing what she can do this season."
