Lady Chargers Close Regular Season with Win Over Chattanooga State
The Lady Chargers capped off the 2025–2026 regular season in style Saturday afternoon at The Web, defeating the Chattanooga State Lady Tigers 63-56 in front of the home crowd.
With the win, Columbia State finishes the regular season 14-12 overall and 13-7 in TCCAA play, building momentum as they head toward postseason competition.
Sophomore Lily Melton delivered a standout performance in her final game at Columbia State, pouring in 26 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists. Melton's presence on both ends of the floor helped set the tone early and steady the Lady Chargers late.
Freshman Kelsey Keiler added an impressive 18 points, along with 6 rebounds and 2 steals, providing key scoring throughout the contest.
Sophomore Niana Hill controlled the paint with a dominant double-double, finishing with 12 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists, anchoring the Lady Chargers defensively and on the glass.

The Lady Chargers will now await the final TCCAA regular season results to determine their seeding in the upcoming conference tournament.
The TCCAA Region 7 Basketball Tournament will be held March 6–10 at Volunteer State Community College Pioneers. Columbia State looks to carry its late-season momentum into tournament play as they compete for a championship opportunity.
