Lady Chargers Dominate Roane State in TCCAA Matchup
The Columbia State Lady Chargers delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, Feb. 14, defeating the Roane State Lady Raiders 82–27 at The Web in a TCCAA conference matchup.
Sophomore Lily Melton led the way with a standout double-double, pouring in 27 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Freshman Emma Sharp was instrumental in orchestrating the offense, finishing with 15 points and eight assists. Sophomore Niana Hill added another double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman Kelsey Keiler chipped in 11 points and six boards to round out a balanced scoring effort.
The Lady Chargers set the tone early on both ends of the floor, applying relentless defensive pressure while executing efficiently on offense to build a sizable lead that carried through all four quarters.
With the win, Columbia State improves to 12–10 overall and 11–5 in conference play, continuing their push in the TCCAA standings.
