Lady Chargers Upset Cleveland State on the Road
The Lady Chargers women's basketball team earned a statement road win on Saturday, upsetting the Cleveland State Lady Cougars 58–55 in the final seconds of the game.
The hard-fought victory moves the Lady Chargers to 10–9 overall and 9–4 in TCCAA play as they continue to build momentum late in the season.
Sophomore Niana Hill led the way with a strong all-around performance, finishing with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Freshman Kelsey Keiler also posted a double-double, contributing 15 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and one steal in the win.
The Lady Chargers will look to carry this momentum back home as they host Pellissippi State on Monday, February 9, with tipoff set for 3 p.m. at The Web.
