Lady Chargers Defeat Lady Green Jays in TCCAA Home Victory

The Lady Chargers defended their home court at The Web last night, picking up a strong 59–52 win over the Lady Green Jays in TCCAA action.

Freshman Emma Sharp led the Chargers offensively, scoring a team-high 18 points to pace the victory. Sophomore Niana Hill delivered an impressive all-around performance, finishing with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and four steals. Sophomore Lily Melton added a double-double of her own with 13 points and 10 rebounds, helping secure the Chargers' ninth win of the season.

With the victory, the Lady Chargers improve to 9–9 overall and 8–4 in TCCAA play.

The team now heads east to Cleveland State on Saturday to face the Lady Cougars. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. CST.
