Lady Chargers Fall at Motlow State in TCCAA Matchup
The Columbia State Lady Chargers traveled to Motlow State on Friday, January 23, for a TCCAA conference showdown, falling 82–74 in a hard-fought contest.
Sophomore Lily Melton led all scorers with an impressive performance, pouring in 30 points while adding seven rebounds and two steals. Sophomore Niana Hill continued her strong play with 16 points, nine rebounds, and three steals. Freshman Kelsey Keiler recorded a double-double, finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.
Despite the loss, the Lady Chargers showed resilience and balanced production as they battled throughout the game.
Columbia State now stands at 8–9 overall and 7–4 in TCCAA play.
The Lady Chargers will be back on the road Wednesday, January 28, as they take on Volunteer State in another key conference matchup.
