Lady Chargers Roll Past Trevecca JV
The Columbia State Lady Chargers turned in a dominant road performance on December 12, defeating the Trevecca University JV team 87–40.
The Lady Chargers controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing balanced scoring, strong rebounding, and aggressive defense.
Freshman Kelsey Keiler led the way with an impressive double-double, finishing with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Sophomore Lily Melton also recorded a standout performance, posting 20 points, 16 rebounds, and three steals.
Freshman Emma Sharp contributed across the stat sheet with 12 points, nine assists, and three steals, while sophomore Brooke Piscitelli added 10 points to round out the scoring.
With the victory, the Lady Chargers improve their overall record to 6–5 on the season.
Columbia State will return to action after the new year on January 5, when they travel to Meridian Community College for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.
