Lady Chargers Earn Strong Home Win Over Cleveland State
The Columbia State Lady Chargers picked up a big home victory on Saturday, defeating the Cleveland State Lady Cougars 65–50 at the Webster Athletic Center. The win moves the Lady Chargers to 2–5 overall and 2–3 in TCCAA play, marking an important step forward as they continue conference action.
Sophomore Lily Melton shined once again, recording another impressive double-double with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 steals. Sophomore Niana Hill also posted a double-double, finishing with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and a steal. Freshman Talia Rowell delivered a strong defensive performance, adding 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.
The Lady Chargers return to Webster Athletic Center on Monday, November 24, when they host Calhoun Community College in their final matchup before Thanksgiving break.
