Lady Chargers Fall to Pellissippi State in Saturday TCCAA Matchup
The Lady Chargers hit the road on Saturday, November 15, traveling to Knoxville, TN, to take on the Lady Panthers of Pellissippi State in a TCCAA matchup. Despite a strong effort, Columbia State came up short, falling 57–45.
Sophomore Lily Melton led the way with an impressive double-double, scoring 19 points while adding 11 rebounds and 4 steals. Sophomore Niana Hill was dominant on the boards with 16 rebounds and 8 points. Tennley Dowty added 6 points, while Emma Sharp, Malaya Woullard, and Shunta Caston each contributed 4 points.
The Lady Chargers now sit at 1–4 overall and 1–2 in TCCAA play. They are back on the road Wednesday, November 19, heading west to battle the Green Jays of Jackson State. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
