Lady Chargers Fall to Calhoun Community College

The Lady Chargers Basketball team hit the road on Monday, November 3, to take on Calhoun Community College. Despite a hard-fought effort, Columbia State fell 71-61, moving their record to 0-2 on the season.

Sophomore Lily Melton led the way with a double-double, scoring 18 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Malaya Woullard added 12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal, while Emma Sharp contributed 11 points, 3 steals, and 3 rebounds. Niana Hill also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Chargers return home on Saturday, November 8, to host the Motlow State Bucks in their first TCCAA matchup of the season.
