Lady Chargers Drop Doubleheader at Volunteer State
The Lady Chargers hit the road for a TCCAA doubleheader against Volunteer State on Tuesday but came up short in both contests, falling 10-0 in game one and 15-0 in game two.
In the opener, the Lady Chargers managed just two hits—one each from Jaylee Warren and Mycah Price. Warren also took the loss in the circle, pitching 4 innings and allowing 7 earned runs with 3 walks.
Game two saw a stronger showing at the plate, with the Lady Chargers collecting seven hits. Jaylee Warren and Madison Arel each went 1-for-3, while Jaelyn Luke, Abigail Brown, Mycah Price, Chloe West, and Reagan Burleson all added hits. Christina Juarez took the loss, going 4 innings and surrendering 11 earned runs.
The Lady Chargers will look to bounce back on Thursday as they travel to face the Green Jays of Jackson State in another TCCAA matchup.
