Lady Chargers Fall to #20 Volunteer State
The Columbia State Lady Chargers hosted No. 20 Volunteer State on Friday at Eddie Campbell Field, dropping both games of the doubleheader, 10-0 and 20-0.
In game one, the Lady Chargers managed just two hits, courtesy of Samantha Staggs and Abigail Brown. Jaylee Warren took the loss in the circle.
Game two saw similar struggles at the plate, with Madison Arel and Jaelyn Luke each recording a hit. Christina Juarez was tagged with the loss for the Chargers.
With the losses, Columbia State falls to 8-25 overall and 7-13 in TCCAA play. The Lady Chargers will look to bounce back on Tuesday, April 15, when they travel to Volunteer State for another TCCAA matchup.
