Chargers Roll Past Dyersburg State in TCCAA Road Victory
DYERSBURG, Tenn. – The Columbia State Chargers delivered a dominant performance on the road Wednesday night, defeating Dyersburg State 85-58 in a TCCAA matchup.
The Chargers controlled the tempo from the start and never looked back, using balanced scoring and a strong defensive presence to secure the convincing conference win.
Sophomore Jamison Glass led the way with 16 points and 10 rebounds to record a double-double, while adding one assist. Fellow sophomore Taveon Comage matched Glass with 16 points and contributed four rebounds and three assists.
Freshman Nate Malosa made his presence felt on both ends of the floor, finishing with 11 points, 10 rebounds and an impressive seven blocks. Freshman Tyren Fisher added 10 points and dished out six assists to help guide the Chargers' offense.
With the win, Columbia State improves to 21-4 overall and 14-1 in TCCAA play, continuing its strong run through conference competition.
The Chargers will return home on Saturday, Feb. 14, to host the Roane State Raiders at The Web. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
