Chargers Defeat Southwest Tennessee 91–70
The Columbia State Chargers hosted Southwest Tennessee Community College on Wednesday night at The Web and came away with a 91–70 victory in TCCAA conference play.
Columbia State was paced by a balanced offensive effort, with several Chargers scoring in double figures. Freshman JD Claybrook led the team with 14 points and five rebounds. Freshman Nate Malosa recorded a double-double, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while also adding an impressive six blocks.
Freshman Sam Parson contributed 11 points, while freshman Piotr Luczak added 10 points and six rebounds. Sophomore Arnez Anderson rounded out the scoring leaders with 10 points.
With the win, the Chargers improve to 15–4 overall and 8–1 in TCCAA conference play.
The Chargers will hit the road this Saturday, traveling to Chattanooga State for another important TCCAA matchup.
