Chargers Roll Past Tennessee Valley Community Christian at The Web
The Columbia State Chargers men's basketball team put together an impressive all-around performance yesterday at The Web, cruising to a 123–55 victory over the Defenders from Tennessee Valley Community Christian.
The Chargers showcased their depth and balance, with multiple players contributing on both ends of the floor. Sophomore Jamison Glass led the way with 14 points and 8 rebounds, while fellow sophomore Arnez Anderson added 14 points and 2 steals. Sophomore Kenny Ellis filled up the stat sheet with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals, highlighting the Chargers' strong team play.
Freshman Nate Malosa made his presence felt inside, finishing with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and an impressive 5 blocks as the Chargers controlled the paint throughout the contest.
With the win, Columbia State now turns its attention to a marquee TCCAA matchup. The Chargers are set to host No. 16 Walters State on Saturday at 4 p.m. at The Web in what promises to be a big conference showdown.
