Chargers Stay Perfect in Conference With 76–61 Road Win at Roane State
The Columbia State Chargers continued their strong start to the season with a big 76–61 road victory over Roane State on Saturday. The win pushes the Chargers to 9-2 overall and keeps them unbeaten in TCCAA play at 7-0.
Sophomore Jamison Glass led the team with an impressive 18 points and 6 rebounds, setting the tone on both ends of the floor. Sophomore Taveon Comage followed closely with 17 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals, delivering another well-rounded performance. Sophomore Kenny Ellis added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, helping secure the win with steady play and defensive pressure.
The Chargers will have the week off before returning to action on Tuesday, December 16, when they take on Community Christian College of Georgia. The game will be played in front of the student body at Columbia Central High School and is closed to the public.
Columbia State will then host the annual Charger Classic, set for Thursday, December 18, and Friday, December 19 at The Web.
