Chargers Stay Perfect in Conference With Win Over Cleveland State
The Columbia State Chargers continued their strong start to the season on Saturday, defeating the Cleveland State Cougars 90–60 at the Webster Athletic Center. The victory improves Columbia State to 6–2 overall and keeps them unbeaten in TCCAA play at 5–0.
Freshman Nate Malosa led the way with a double-double, tallying 11 points and 10 rebounds. The sophomore trio of Jamison Glass, Taveon Comage, and Arnez Anderson each added 10 points, contributing balanced scoring across the lineup. Malik Currie finished with 9 points, Tyren Fisher added 8, and Murray Norman and Sam Parson chipped in 7 points each to round out the Chargers' strong offensive performance.
The Chargers will take a break for Thanksgiving before returning to action on Monday, December 1, when they host Bryan College JV at 5:30 p.m. at The Web.
