Chargers Earn Road Win Over Pellissippi State
The Chargers hit the road on Saturday, November 15, traveling to Knoxville, TN, to take on the Panthers of Pellissippi State. Columbia State came away with an impressive 89–79 victory, improving to 4–2 overall and a perfect 3–0 in TCCAA play.
Sophomore Jamison Glass led the Chargers with a standout performance, pouring in 25 points while adding 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Freshman Sam Parson continued his strong early-season play with 13 points, while sophomore Arnez Anderson added 12 points. Sophomore Taveon Comage contributed 10 points to round out the balanced scoring effort.
Freshman Nate Malosa made his presence felt in the paint, pulling down 8 rebounds and recording an impressive 6 blocks.
The Chargers return to action on Wednesday, November 19, as they travel west to take on the Green Jays of Jackson State. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
