Chargers Dominate Motlow State in TCCAA Opener
The Columbia State Chargers opened TCCAA region play in commanding fashion on Saturday, defeating the Motlow State Bucks 107–70 at Webster Athletic Center. The win improves the Chargers' record to 2–2 overall and 1–0 in conference play.
Sophomore Taveon Comage led the charge with 17 points, adding 3 rebounds, 8 assists, and 4 steals in a strong all-around performance. Freshman Tyren Fisher followed with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and a steal, while Freshman Nate Malosa contributed 15 points, 9 rebounds, and a block. Sophomore Arnez Anderson also added 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists for Columbia State.
The Chargers look to build on this momentum as they return to Webster Athletic Center on Wednesday, November 12, to face the Volunteer State Pioneers. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
